Coaching with Empathy – Workshop

The Youth Sports Mental Health & Wellness Alliance is proud to offer an upcoming workshop to support coaches’ efforts and promote positive mental health & wellness in sports. Coaching with Empathy, in partnership with the Positive Coaching Alliance, provides coaches with the tools to build meaningful, understanding relationships with and amongst their team – and unlock the many benefits that sports can provide.

This professional development workshop will be held on Wednesday, December 4, from 10 am – noon, on the campus of Virginia Wesleyan University. It will be led by former college basketball and NBA G-League coach, Bob MacKinnon. It is open to Alliance members and representatives from their organizations, as well as youth and collegiate sports stakeholders that have an interest in supporting positive mental health & wellness in sports.
